CORPORATE EVENTS
Volvo Ocean Race 2006, New York Pit Stop
May 8-11, 2006 | World Financial Center
The Volvo Ocean Race is the world's most prestigious sailing event, and in 2006, for the first time in its history, New York City
became a port of call. For 84 hours, while the seven most advanced sailing vessels in the world were berthed at the North Cove Harbor,
the Suspects were selected to create and manage an international race village that included performances, lectures, press events, and the
installation of a multi-million-dollar corporate midway promoting the race team sponsors. In addition, the Suspects created a waterfront
race to start the next leg of the event, a harrowing trans-Atlantic crossing to Portsmouth, England.
